Community Concerns Raised

  1. Unauthorized deviation from the Piikani-approved construction plan.
  2. Failure to recognize Piikani Nation Water By-Law.
  3. Long-standing issues regarding operation of the Oldman River Dam.
  4. Continued failure to respect Piikani Nation concerns regarding environmental protection.
  5. Activities that negatively impact Piikani spiritual and cultural identity.

The Oldman River remains a source of life for many generations, and the Nation continues to call for respectful stewardship and accountability.
